Carlos brings 20+ years of healthcare management experience across inpatient and outpatient settings. In 2012, he founded an information-management startup and scaled it to $40M in annual revenue before selling to a venture capital firm.

He is known for leading high-performance teams and integrating technology with process improvement to reduce costs and increase value.

Carlos holds an MBA from the University of Dallas and a B.S. in Engineering from Texas A&M University.

Mark Benden, PhD, CPE

Dr. Benden holds a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering, M.S. in Industrial Engineering, and PhD in Interdisciplinary Engineering from Texas A&M University.

A serial innovator, he became an officer of a NASDAQ-listed company at age 32 and has founded multiple university-based startups.

He holds 24 U.S. patents, with products generating $750M+ in sales and an estimated $2B lifetime economic impact.
His most recent company earned multiple awards (SBIR, 2019 VET50, 2018 Inc 5000, and Aggie 100) before he exited.

Les is a seasoned medical practice executive with experience across clinical, research, financial, and operational roles in both private and academic healthcare systems.

He holds graduate degrees in Business and Healthcare Administration from The University of Missouri and Texas A&M University.
Les is a Fellow of both MGMA and ACHE and a nationally recognized expert in healthcare process improvement, with 130+ publications and presentations.

He also serves as adjunct faculty at several universities, including Texas A&M School of Public Health.

He developed EMSw, which merged with ClickFind and was later acquired by DataTrak, and founded Affilion, an emergency department staffing and productivity company acquired by EmCare.

Today, he focuses on new business development and investment opportunities.

Dr. Ogden brings 40 years of experience in clinical practice and medical education.

After earning his M.D. from Texas A&M and completing an Internal Medicine residency at the Mayo Clinic, he practiced at Scott & White Clinic and later became a tenured professor at Texas A&M College of Medicine.

He has served as Academic Affairs Dean, Interim Dean of Medicine, Interim President of the Texas A&M Health Science Center, and Provost at Texas Tech University Health Science Center.
